Mackenzie-Beaufort CDOM and DOC Satellite Retrievals, 1998-2023

María Sánchez-Urrea generated a long-term dataset of Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter absorption coefficient and Dissolved Organic Carbon concentrations for the Mackenzie River–Beaufort Sea region. The dataset spans 26 years from 1998 to 2023 and was created using the Copernicus-GlobColour multi-sensor merged remote sensing reflectance product. It enables analysis of river plume dynamics, interannual variability, and long-term trends in the Arctic coastal zone.
