103 spatially clustered patches of the invasive plant Solanum rostratum were analyzed in the Agro-Pastoral Region of Northern China. The study by Qian-Mei Wu integrates spatial analysis of occurrence data, mechanistic simulations, and field experiments to quantify dispersal by wind, vehicles, and animals. A Gamma GLMM attributed 64.3% of the variance in spread speed to these three vectors, with vehicle dispersal identified as the most influential single factor.
