117 breast cancer patients who developed brain metastases from 2008 to 2023 were analyzed for changes in peripheral blood monocyte counts. The absolute monocyte count increased 2.11-fold at brain metastasis diagnosis, and a high lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio was associated with a median survival of 20.0 months versus 5.13 months in the low group. This dataset, authored by Jihwan Yoo and shared under CC-BY-4.0, suggests monocyte dynamics may serve as exploratory prognostic markers.
