Two experiments with 658.1 KB of scored recall data investigate the 'within > across' memory effect. Younger (18–33 years) and older adults (65–85 years) viewed BBC's Sherlock and completed a cued-recall task, with responses scored for episodic and semantic details. The dataset, authored by Rujuta Pradhan and last updated in April 2026, reveals a reversed effect for gist details across experiments.
Primary data file is a PDF (658.1 KB); the tabular data format is inferred from the experimental description.
