Silica Effects on Phosphorus Fixation on Iron Oxides at pH 5 and 7

Results show amorphous silica increased calcium-acetate-lactate-extractable phosphorus from 1.30–1.46 mg P kg⁻¹ to 2.14–4.14 mg P kg⁻¹ on hematite, and co-application of dissolved organic carbon further increased it up to 2.7-fold.
