A study of 99 healthy participants investigated state-dependent neuromodulation by repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Participants were allocated to active rTMS with sad film viewing, active rTMS with neutral film viewing, or sham rTMS with sad film viewing groups. The analysis calculated the fraction of time, resilience, and transition probabilities of four recurring co-activation patterns (CAPs) to characterize brain dynamics.
