Description
A 2026 systematic review synthesizing evidence from 39 studies of infants aged 0–3 years with physician-confirmed non-IgE-mediated cow's milk allergy. The review, authored by Wei Kong and published on figshare, includes an integrative analysis of publicly available single-cell RNA sequencing datasets. It investigates the AhR–TLR4 axis, gut dysbiosis, and potential biomarkers and interventions.
Use Cases
Validate the Bifidobacterium/Enterobacteriaceae (B/E) ratio as a predictive biomarker for persistent allergy based on the reported HR and AUC values.
Investigate the AhR–TLR4 mechanistic pathway in intestinal epithelial cells based on the described dysbiosis signature and scRNA-seq findings.
Assess the potential of synbiotic interventions for symptom resolution based on the reported 67% improvement associated with LGG + HMOs.
