Description
Integrative transcriptomic and proteomic analyses identified 314 immune-related genes and proteins, including 14 C-type lectins, in larvae infected with the fungus Beauveria bassiana. The dataset, published by Shaohua Li on figshare, includes results from RNA-Seq and iTRAQ techniques. A novel lectin, CpIML4, was found to be highly expressed in 5th-instar larval hemolymph and its knockdown significantly decreased fungal resistance.
