Yap Trench sediments from 4,159–6,682 m depth were used to study microbial diversity under different cultivation pressures. The dataset, authored by Libo Yu and last updated in March 2026, captures 44–55% of original microbial diversity under high-pressure conditions, compared to 6–18% under atmospheric pressure. It provides insights into microbial co-occurrence patterns and assembly processes in extreme environments.
The dataset is a 963.8 KB DOCX file; users may need to extract textual or tabular data from within the document.
