Description
A genome-wide analysis identified 647 receptor-like kinase gene candidates in Orinus species, classified into 52 subfamilies. The dataset, authored by Yue Fang and last updated in April 2026, includes results from phylogenetic, synteny, and cis-acting element analyses. It provides a foundation for studying molecular mechanisms of adaptation to extreme cold, drought, and high-UV stress on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
Use Cases
Comparative genomics analysis based on the identified evolutionary relationship between Orinus and wheat.
Stress response gene discovery based on the enrichment of hormone-responsive and stress-responsive cis-acting elements.
Crop engineering research based on insights into RLK evolutionary innovations for stress tolerance.
Gene family expansion study based on the reported tandem duplication events and uneven chromosomal distribution.
