Description
A retrospective evaluation of a government–school–enterprise–association (GSEA) pilot intervention in a prefecture-level city in eastern China from 2023 to 2025. The dataset, authored by Shibao LI and shared under CC-BY-4.0, includes survey, interview, and administrative panel data from 326 stakeholders, 28 interviews, and 1,200 students. It was analyzed using structural equation modeling to examine associations with workforce development outcomes.
Use Cases
Analyze the impact of multi-stakeholder governance models on professional employment rates based on the reported increase from 68.3% to 89.5%.
Model relationships between policy support, curriculum-practice alignment, and enterprise satisfaction based on the structural equation modeling framework described.
Evaluate the effectiveness of intermediary associations in translating public policy into professional standards, as suggested by the GSEA model's theoretical contribution.
Assess industry service capacity improvements linked to school-enterprise cooperation initiatives mentioned in the study's objectives.
Strengths
Includes multi-source data: 326 stakeholder surveys, 28 interviews, and administrative panel data for 1,200 students.
Reports specific outcome metrics: professional employment rate increased from 68.3% to 89.5%, and enterprise satisfaction rose by 23.6%.
Uses a defined analytical method: structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine governance mechanisms.
Limitations
Column-level documentation is absent; field semantics must be inferred after download.
Row count is unknown, which may limit suitability assessment.
The observational design means findings are associative rather than causal, as noted in the description.
