Muscle Mass and NAFLD Association Data from Hospital, NHANES, and Mendelian Randomization

A multimodal dataset investigating the relationship between muscle mass and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). It includes hospital-based data from 2,384 acute appendicitis patients (2016–2025), NHANES survey data from 21,696 participants (1999–2018), and Mendelian randomization results. The dataset was authored by Weidong Xie and uploaded on figshare in May 2026.
