310 digitally-active Greeks aged 18–39 participated in a cross-sectional survey exploring social media's political influence. The study introduces a conceptual distinction between 'transformative' influence (shaping beliefs) and 'causative' influence (determining votes), finding a significant 21.3-point gap between them. Anastasios Stavropoulos authored this exploratory work, which provides preliminary quantitative evidence from an underrepresented Southern European context.
