Description
Data Sheet 5 presents results from in vitro functional B-cell assays investigating the influence of soluble factors from chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells on normal B cells. The dataset, authored by Michelle Maria Elbert and last updated in May 2026, includes measurements of plasma cell differentiation, proliferation, cell death, and B-cell activation markers CD80, CD86, and CD25. The analysis suggests no major direct inhibitory effects of CLL-derived soluble factors on normal mature B cells.
Use Cases
Comparing B-cell activation levels based on CD80, CD86, and CD25 marker expression.
Analyzing plasma cell differentiation rates under different serum conditions.
Investigating correlations between proliferation and cell death measurements in co-culture assays.
Testing hypotheses about the role of soluble factors in CLL-associated immunodeficiency.
Strengths
Includes control data from healthy individuals for comparison.
