EUPEMEN: Enhanced Recovery Protocols for Abdominal Surgery Across Europe

EUPEMEN developed seven standardized Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocols for major general surgical domains across five European countries. The 26-month project created a multilingual digital learning platform with ten educational modules and trained ten trainers who engaged 366 healthcare professionals. This framework, funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, provides a structured approach to harmonizing post-surgical care implementation.
