Dataset for: Sapling regeneration of <i>Cunninghamia lanceolata</i> and surrounding unders

Plot-level field measurements of Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) sapling regeneration and surrounding understory vegetation surveyed in October 2024. Twelve permanent plots were established across four fire-intensity classes within the area burned by the October 2022 Xintian wildfire in Hunan Province, China. The dataset includes sapling measurements and species-level vegetation observations for approximately 120 vascular plant species.
