This dataset supports a study examining the effects of low, medium, and high temperature frequencies on the relative academic performance of Colombian students in 9th and 11th grade state exams in mathematics and reading comprehension. The analysis uses panel regressions with student and year fixed effects. The study found that the percentile rank in math and reading tests is negatively affected by increases in the number of days with average temperatures above 26.6°C in the 12 school months prior to the exams.
License information is unknown. The dataset is intended to replicate a specific study on temperature effects.
