Description
Continuous radar measurements of wind speed, direction, and echo characteristics in the troposphere, stratosphere, and mesosphere above Davis, Antarctica. Data collection began in 2003 and is ongoing, with measurements taken approximately every minute. The dataset is produced by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre (AU_AADC) in support of Antarctic science research projects.
Use Cases
Analyze radial velocity and echo strength time-series to study gravity wave processes in the Antarctic atmosphere.
