Diatom Life Cycle Images from Four Species, Brightfield and Oblique Illumination

345 brightfield and oblique illumination microscopy images capture four diatom species at different life cycle stages. Carlos Sanchez Bueno created this dataset, which includes 74 images of Gomphonema minutum, 117 of Luticola goeppertiana, 59 of Nitzschia amphibia, and 95 of Nitzschia capitellata. Images were captured using a 60x objective with a calibration of 7.91 pixels per micrometer.
