CLIVAR S04I 2006: Ocean Carbon and Hydrographic Profiles from the Southern Ocean

Discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and nutrients were collected during the R/V Aurora Australis cruise CLIVAR_S04I_2006 in the Indian and Southern Oceans from 2006-01-02 to 2006-03-12. Bronte Tilbrook of CSIRO and Mark Rosenberg of the University of Tasmania collected the data as part of the International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program. The program systematically re-occupies select hydrographic sections to quantify changes in heat, freshwater, and carbon dioxide storage and transport.
