From September 29 to November 30, 1992, this dataset contains discrete sample and profile observations of dissolved inorganic carbon, alkalinity, pH, nutrients, and chlorophyll collected during the R/V Polarstern cruise 06ANTX_6 in the South Atlantic Ocean. The data were collected by researchers from the Alfred Wegener Institute, NIOZ, and the University of East Anglia using CTD and bottle instruments. It is part of the CARINA synthesis project for biogeochemical investigations of the carbon system in the Atlantic, Arctic, and Southern Oceans.
