Barents Sea Carbon and Hydrographic Measurements from 1986 Cruise

The Barents Sea is the focus of this dataset containing discrete sample and profile observations of dissolved inorganic carbon, alkalinity, pH, and other hydrographic variables. Data were collected from the R/V Lance during a one-week cruise in July 1986 using CTD and bottle instruments. Bert Rudels of the Finnish Institute of Marine Research and Leif G. Anderson of the University of Gothenburg collected the data as part of the CARINA synthesis project for biogeochemical investigations.
