Pacific Ocean Carbon and Chemistry Profiles from Ryofu Maru II, 1997

PACIFICA project data from cruise PACIFICA_49RY19970121 includes 22 oceanographic variables measured in the North Pacific Ocean and Philippine Sea. These discrete sample and profile observations were collected using CTD, Coulometer, and bottle instruments aboard the Ryofu Maru II from January 21 to February 9, 1997. Naoyuki Ishikawa of the Japan Meteorological Agency and Masao Ishii of the Meteorological Research Institute led the data collection for this international synthesis of Pacific Ocean interior carbon.
