From 1998-04-22 to 1998-04-30, discrete water samples and profiles were collected from the SHUMPU MARU in the Philippine Sea. The data includes measurements for dissolved inorganic carbon, pH, alkalinity, nutrients, chlorophyll, and CFCs, collected using CTD, Coulometer, and bottle instruments. It was contributed by researchers from the Japan Meteorological Agency and the Meteorological Research Institute as part of the international PACIFICA data synthesis project.
