Discrete sample and profile data collected from the TANKAI-MARU research vessel in the North Pacific Ocean from March 13 to 18, 2002. The data include dissolved inorganic carbon, temperature, salinity, nitrate+nitrite, phosphate, silicate, and hydrostatic pressure, collected using CTD, Coulometer, and bottle instruments. These observations were made by Tsuneo Ono of the National Research Institute of Fisheries Science as part of the PACIFICA project, an international synthesis effort for Pacific Ocean interior carbon data.
