Coastal Ocean Acidification Measurements in the Northeast U.S., 2017

2017 water column measurements for dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH, and nutrients collected from the Gulf of Maine, Georges Bank, and Mid-Atlantic Bight. Samples were taken at three depths (surface, mid-depth, near bottom) on a quarterly basis by NOAA's Ecosystem Monitoring Cruises. Data were analyzed by NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic & Meteorological Laboratory and the University of Maine to monitor coastal ocean acidification trends.
