Diurnal Dead Fuel Moisture Content in Hawaii 1999-2001

David R. Weise collected diurnal fuel moisture content and associated weather data in support of fire danger work in Hawaii from 1999 to 2001. Approximately 1450 hours of observations were gathered at 15 sites across the islands of Hawaii, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu. The purpose was to test fuel moisture models in the humid, tropical environment of Hawaii.
