A study by Katieann Skogsberg investigated learning styles among psychology (87 students) and biology (92 students) majors using the Revised Study Process Questionnaire (R-SPQ-2F). The research found significant differences in Deep Approach, Deep Motive, and Deep Strategy subscales between majors, but no differences in Surface Approach subscales or between upper and lower level students.
