A 90-meter pixel raster map shows the confusion index between the two most probable soil groups across Western Australia. The dataset, created by Karen Holmes of DPIRD in 2013, is derived from conventional soil landscape polygon mapping. It provides a quantitative measure of prediction uncertainty for soil classification.
Primary data is in raster format (GeoTIFF within ZIP); users require GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or specialized libraries (e.g., rasterio in Python) for analysis. The license is Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY).
