Description
GLIDE numbers are GLobal unique IDEntifiers for Disasters, enabling interoperability across multiple disaster information sources. The Asian Disaster Reduction Center proposed this common ID to address the challenge of accessing scattered and confusing disaster information. The dataset is actively used by institutions including UN-OCHA, UNDRR, UNDP, WMO, IFRC, FAO, the European Commission, and CRED.
