Sydney Drink-Driving Survey: Attitudes and Behaviors of 1,197 Residents

1,197 men and women aged 17-69 in Sydney were interviewed about their drink-driving habits and attitudes following the 1968 blood alcohol limit law. The survey found seven out of ten men at least sometimes combine drinking and driving, with young men being the highest-risk group. This report, TARU 1/73, was produced by the NSW Government to examine factors undermining the law's effectiveness.
