Drone Audio Detection Samples (DADS) provides between 100,000 and 1,000,000 audio recordings standardized to 16,000 Hz for drone detection research. Created by geronimobasso and last updated in March 2025, it is currently the largest publicly available database of its kind. The collection features mono-channel, 16-bit depth audio segments ranging from 500 milliseconds to several minutes.
The dataset is licensed under MIT and provided in Parquet format; users should be prepared to handle audio files of inconsistent durations ranging from 500ms to several minutes.
