Whin Sill Rock Samples: EBSD, AMS, and AARM Data

Five rock samples (WS01, WS02, WQC1C, WQC2C, WQC3C) from the Whin Sill in northern England. The dataset includes electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS), and anhysteretic anisotropy of remanent magnetisation (AARM) files, along with magnetic carrier characterisation. This work was completed at the University of Liverpool and is described in a paper accepted into the Journal of the Geological Society in May 2025.
