ECCO V4r4: Daily Ocean Density and Pressure on a 0.5-Degree Grid, 1992-2017

ECCO Version 4 Release 4 provides a 26-year daily reconstruction of global ocean density, stratification, and hydrostatic pressure on a regular 0.5-degree grid. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration produced this dataset by fitting a 1-degree MIT general circulation model to multiple observational constraints, including satellite altimetry, sea surface temperature, and in-situ measurements. This dynamically consistent state estimate covers the period from January 1992 to January 2018.
