Description
Between May 2015 and February 2016, a study estimated fungal richness, frequency, and similarity associated with three Bromeliaceae species in three areas of Bahia state, Brazil. The research, conducted by Patrícia Martins Galvão Palha, identified a total of 19 genera distributed in 27 fungal taxa, with the highest species richness (17 taxa) found in the Orquilândia Tropical area. The study revealed a fungal diversity occurring in different bromeliad species in both natural and cultivated ecosystems.
