Ecophysiological measurements from thermal tolerance testing of specific warm-tolerant and normal family-lines of giant kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera) from Tasmania, Australia. The data includes growth, nutrient usage, fatty acid content, and photosynthetic measurements from cultivation trials at cool (16 °C) and warm (20 °C) temperatures. The work was conducted under the NESP MaC 1.28 project and published via the Australian Ocean Data Network.
