ECOSTRESS: Global Downscaled Soil Moisture at 70 m Resolution

ECOSTRESS Tiled Downscaled Soil Moisture Instantaneous L3 Global 70 m V002 provides instantaneous soil moisture estimates derived from the ECOSTRESS instrument on the International Space Station. The data product uses linear regression with up-sampled surface temperature, NDVI, and albedo as predictors, bias-corrected with GEOS-5 FP data, and is tiled using a modified Military Grid Reference System. This Version 2 product is provided by NASA and contains three layers: soil moisture, cloud mask, and water mask.
