Laboratory experimental data examining the effects of temperature, salinity, and food availability on the burrowing activity of the polychaete Capitella sp. 1. The dataset also includes measurements of sediment pH and oxygen using fluorosensors to assess the effects of burrowing on marine sediment chemistry. The data was contributed by the Australian Ocean Data Network and last updated in June 2026.
