12-week-old Fisher 344 rats were ovariectomized and randomized into baseline (n=6), ground control (n=12), or spaceflight (n=12) groups for a 14-day mission. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) conducted this study, with results derived from micro–computed tomography (mCT) assays. This dataset contains results only for the ovariectomized animals, investigating bone- and compartment-specific effects of spaceflight.
