Child Growth and Neurodevelopment in Bogotá Before and After COVID-19

Two cohorts of 70 children from 2019 and 48 children from 2022 in El Codito, Bogotá, Colombia, were studied to assess pandemic impacts. The dataset includes weight, height, BMI percentiles, and neurodevelopmental scores from the EAD 3 scale. It also contains mother-reported questionnaire data on family experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Collection Method

Children aged 1-6 years were recruited from five community welfare homes run by the Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar. Growth measurements and EAD 3 assessments were conducted; a questionnaire was administered to mothers in 2022.
