GA4848: Multibeam Sonar Backscatter Survey of Elizabeth and Middleton Reefs, 2020

Geoscience Australia collected multibeam sonar backscatter data for Middleton Reef and Elizabeth Reef within Lord Howe Marine Park from January 31 to February 6, 2020. The survey provides baseline seabed information for the National Park and Recreational Use Zones to support a 10-year marine park management plan (2018-2028). Data acquisition included multibeam sonar mapping, AUV imagery, sediment samples, and baited underwater video.
