Featuring 5-minute averaged measurements of direct normal, global, and diffuse horizontal solar irradiance from a six-station network. The network operated from July 1985 to December 1996, funded by the Department of Energy, to assess solar resources in the southeastern United States. Data from two stations, including Elizabeth City State University, were later integrated into the CONFRRM network.
Data is provided in HTML format, not a standard tabular format like CSV, requiring significant preprocessing for analytical use. Users must check the CONFRRM network for post-1997 data from the two remaining active stations.
