Greenhouse gas emissions data from methane (CH4) released by fires in humid tropical forests, expressed in CO2 equivalents. Estimates are provided by country with global coverage for the period 1990–2019, computed using IPCC AR5 Tier 1 methodology. The dataset is produced by the FAOSTAT Emissions Totals domain and updated annually.
