Description
Raw calibration images were acquired by the Medium Resolution Visible CCD (MRI) instrument during the EPOXI mission. The data spans from 04 October 2007 through 28 November 2010, covering the EPOCh, 103P/Hartley 2 Encounter, and cruise phases. The dataset is provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
Use Cases
Develop calibration algorithms for CCD sensors based on the raw calibration images.
Analyze instrument performance over time based on data from the EPOCh, Hartley 2 Encounter, and cruise phases.
Train models for noise reduction or artifact correction in space imagery based on the raw image data.
Strengths
Data covers a defined time range from 04 October 2007 through 28 November 2010.
