A marine model simulation quantifies the dispersal of the pesticide diuron in the Great Barrier Reef from January 2016 to July 2018. The model from the Australian Ocean Data Network uses a 1 km resolution grid nested inside a 4 km model, forced by hydrodynamics from wind, tides, and waves. It incorporates freshwater input from 16 rivers and simulates diuron loads from agricultural and urban runoff.
