Description
Research data evaluates the stock and water retention capacity of litter from 15 three-year-old Eucalyptus clones and hybrids. Samples were collected per square meter, separated into twig, leaf, and amorphous material fractions, dried, and weighed. Water retention capacity was measured using a technique established in 1955, with average litter stock at 4.96 Mg.ha–1 and average water retention capacity at 249.58%.

Collection Method
