Description
Six years after initial planting and isolation, a botanical survey in a degraded Permanent Preservation Area in Pouso Redondo, Santa Catarina state, Brazil, recorded 918 individual trees from 73 species. The study, authored by Carla Carolina Chini Rech, quantified natural establishment, finding 48 species (65.8%) were naturally established, with 71.2% classified as zoochoric and 54.8% as light demanding for climax.
