Field work in the Ohio Range of the Horlick Mountains focused on three geological studies. The project analyzed trace fossils in the Devonian Horlick Formation, assessed the glacial Buckeye and post-glacial Discovery Ridge Formations, and studied the overlying Permian Coal Measures. The work was conducted by SCIOPS, with data last updated in 1984.
