Queensland's Brighton Downs 4-mile Sheet area was surveyed by Bureau of Mineral Resources geologists R. R. Vine and W. Jauncey between June and August, 1961. Cretaceous rocks cover nearly the entire area, with Lower Cretaceous marine sediments in the northwest and freshwater deposits elsewhere. Tertiary sedimentation occurred in northern and southwestern areas, with sandstone, clay, limestone, and widespread lateritisation.
File formats are PDF and HTML, suggesting the data is primarily textual/descriptive documentation rather than structured tabular data.
