This monitoring system tracks agricultural livelihoods and food security across 26 food crisis countries, surveying approximately 150,000 households annually. Produced by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since December 2022, the data is updated roughly every four months to capture seasonal shocks and value chain impacts. The records consist of aggregated household responses collected via telephone and in-person interviews.
This dataset contains aggregated data; microdata and archived records must be accessed via the DIEM Hub. Users requiring GIS files for administrative boundaries (levels 0, 1, and 2) must download them separately from the FAO portal.
